Product Description:

The VAC2-D22-B is a state-of-the-art industrial servo drive designed by Okuma to carry out accurate automation control in industrial production and processing systems. This servo drive is a modular device that features a durable housing unit that contains a high metal content and is free of dangerous chemicals such as mercury, silicon, and asbestos. The operation of this industrial controller is very easy as the controller contains special switches and keys that can be used to send configuration instructions into the housing of the controller. This servo drive also features a seven-segment light-emitting diode that alerts the operator in the case of any operational information in the servo system.

The housing of this industrial controller is designed to protect the controller's internal components from the interference of large solid materials; however, for optimum protection, operators should ensure the controller is installed in an additional control cabinet that provides minimum protection according to IP54 protection class. The electrical components of this industrial controller generate a leakage current during operation. The controller should be securely connected to a grounding system before operation to prevent electrical accidents. The VAC2-D22-B also contains an air blower and heat sink; these two-component work together to keep the internal temperature of the servo drive within a permissible temperature range via forced ventilation. To facilitate this temperature regulation process, the servo drive should be installed in a position that allows for the easy movement of cool air in and out of the motor's housing unit.

The VAC2-D22-B industrial servo drive requires the connection of some additional components for optimum operation; these components include the power and motor feedback cable, external fuses, circuit breakers and lots more.
