The Okuma OSP-P200L is part of the OSP CNC Monitors series and supports a maximum ambient temperature of 40°C and installation altitudes up to 1000 meters. This monitor allows maximum linear coordinates of 99999.999 mm and can handle G codes up to 999, with main file name lengths up to 16 characters. The minimum metric command unit is 1 micrometer.

The OSP-P200L belongs to the OSP CNC Monitors series produced by Okuma. This unit serves as the graphical and data-entry interface for machine tools, allowing programs to be loaded, commands to be entered, and position feedback to be viewed in real time. Within an automated cell, it connects the numerical control to the machine interface by translating part programs and panel inputs into axis, spindle, and auxiliary motions required for metal-cutting and related processes. It also presents operating data and control screens in a format that can be reviewed clearly during routine machine use.
The monitor interprets axis data up to a linear limit of 99999.999 mm, so it can display position feedback for machines with very long travel ranges. Command resolution in metric mode is 1 µm, which supports fine surface finishes and close tolerances during programmed moves. Each block of machining instructions can contain up to 158 characters, giving enough space for coordinated moves, feed changes, and logic statements in one line. When naming programs stored in control memory, the system limits main identifiers to 4 characters, which keeps program names short and consistent on the display. Spindle speed commands are accepted up to 65535, allowing high-speed cutting heads to be addressed without additional scaling.
The display is intended to remain readable and responsive on the shop floor, with an operating temperature up to 40 °C and a start-up temperature down to 5 °C. Relative humidity may reach 50% RH at the maximum temperature, helping prevent condensation that could affect the panel or internal contacts. Installations are permitted up to 1000 m above sea level, which keeps air-cooling performance within normal operating limits despite reduced air density. These conditions support stable screen response and dependable input behavior during regular machine operation.
