The E9101-I06-001 is a durable optic cable manufactured by Okuma for practical automation systems and applications. Like other original Okuma cables, the E9101-I06-001 has an orange coating, implying a pure glass core. It comes with a terminal cover on both ends, which protects the contact point from moisture and foreign materials. The E9101-I06-001 has a length of 3 meters and can be used directly for systems requiring high-speed data transmission. Unlike copper or traditional signal cables, fiber optic cables boast superior transmission speed. Since the signal is propagated through internal reflection, the transmission speed is much higher.
For most optic cables, the transmission speed can go as high as 10 Gbps, while the typical transmission speed is around 1 Gbps. The E9101-I06-001, like other fiber optic cables, consists of a pure glass core and a cladding layer for magnifying light reflection. The innermost core and the cladding layer are both made of high-quality glass material.
