The MIV08DB-1-B3 inverter is compatible with spindle and axis drive motors. This Okuma inverter controls the associated motor using a built-in control board. The product comprises an L side unit capacity of 8kW. The device utilization must be done with only a power supply fitted with overcurrent protection measures such as a fuse or a circuit breaker so that there is no possibility of the unit or cables burning due to a short circuit. The unit has chances of posing a risk of injury, burning or failure if the electrical cabinet in which it is installed is neither dustproof nor waterproof.

The inverter is likely to fail to operate if its inputs and outputs are not corrected properly. This product has to compulsorily be grounded before putting it into use. The protective earth cable should be connected to the electric cabinet. The device communicates with the related DC power supply through the converter link. This unit is connected with the  MPS power supply if it is used with a spindle drive motor. It is supposed to be changed only after shutting OFF the power and waiting for two minutes so that the charge indicating lamp goes OFF. This inverter is associated with a warranty period of one year.

The seven-segment display in the front panel of this product highlights an error number when an alarm occurs if the alarm status display mode is set. The J code highlights the velocity mode. The inverter comes equipped with a single axis. The device has a rated continuous capacity of 7.5kW. The unit is sized at 380 x 100 x 325mm (H x W x D). It is used with the BL series motors offered by the same manufacturer. Multiple inverters can be associated with a single DC power supply. The inverter is shipped to the preferred destination in custom military-grade packaging.
