Product Description

Okuma is an international manufacturer of industrial drive control systems and motion control products.

The ER-MJ-7200D is an absolute position encoder manufactured by the company. This model has been designed for controlling the speed and position of the industrial equipment of different categories. The system has been designed for controlling the speed and position in the OSP 5000 systems manufactured by the company. This results in improved position control capabilities when using CNC machining centers, lathe machines, drives, motors, and human machine interfaces. This model can be used for upper digit positioning in addition to lower digit positioning (0.0001). The absolute encoder can be physically attached to the motors from the BL type. This model can be attached to the ATC magazines that are hydraulically driven. The encoder comes attached with a shaft that is enclosed in a separate casing.

The ER-MJ-7200D has been provided with an MPR that receives a 5 kHz signal (sine and cosine). The phase offset between the sine and MPR signal is compared with the help of a clock signal that is generated by the CNC control. The absolute position encoder has been designed to take a 360 degree turn at every 36-degree turn of the output shaft. This is equal to 16384 clock pulses per the tenth revolution. The position encoders manufactured by the company are often used with the BLID, BLD, and BDU motors manufactured by the company. The FB and FC type encoders manufactured by the company have been designed to complete 2048 revolutions before turning over. The encoders have been designed for a wide range of applications including high speed turrets and rotary tables.
