The E7191-090-008 Compact Rack is a modular control chassis designed for CNC and industrial automation applications. It provides a stable mechanical and electrical base for controller card integration. It fits inside cabinet enclosures and supports multiple interface standards for high performance control environments.
The Okuma E7191-090-008 compact rack has a strong industrial grade sheet metal structure for durability and mounting flexibility. It features flange mounts on the base for secure installation within a cabinet or enclosed system. The main backplane includes ten vertically aligned card slots using DIN 41612 style connectors. These gold plated edge connectors improve conductivity and minimize signal degradation. In addition to the primary card slots, the rack offers four to five auxiliary slots for logic or power boards. A rear vented grill and a built in axial fan maintain airflow across internal components that ensures stable operation during continuous usage. Blue DB15 connectors are available in the rack for data connections XB-FRP1 to XB-FRP4. These include channels for general communication, printer and floppy drive interface. All connectors are secured with thumb screws for stability. The supported communication types include serial (RS-232/422) and parallel I/O as well as proprietary OKUMA protocols for CNC integration.
