The OSP-R1 is a superb pendant controller designed and released by Okuma under the OSP automation series. As a compact controller, this device is designed for handheld operation and is useful for quickly controlling CNC lathe machines during operation. The OSP-R1’s front panel is composed of a number of symbols and diagnostic features that allow the operator to optimally control CNC lathe mills. The OSP-R1 also features a connector port for an emergency stop input. Along with other digital modules, this device can be used to trigger an emergency stop interrupt or response upon detecting a critical change in the automation system.
