Product Description:
The EUA-IC0007 is a control panel unit manufactured by Okuma that is made for use with CNC systems in machining. The panel has a membrane keyboard on the front and a black-and-white CRT screen. The function keys and display outputs are clearly labeled so that the user can interact with the machine.
The EUA-IC0007 control panel features a variety of mode choice switches that enable users to perform Edit, Auto, MDI, Jog, Handle, and Teach. The keyboard is built on a membrane and has an alphabetic and numeric keypad along with arrow keys and control buttons. The front panel also has two status lights, NC STATUS1 and NC STATUS2, that show different machine situations, such as Run, Stop, Alarm, Tape Read/End, and Error. On the back of the control panel, there is a metal case with perforated plates that allow both natural and artificial air flow. At the back, there are a number of industrial-grade connectors for power, spindle control, servo communication, and I/O links. Both G-code and conversational forms can be used with the programming interface. The RS-232 or custom communication methods are used to send and receive data, and punched tape and internal memory are supported for legacy purposes. The Okuma OSP3000 interface makes it possible for both standard and custom machine processes to work together.
By using special channels, the EUA-IC0007 control panel facilitates industrial automation by connecting to servo systems and spindle motors. The cooling design is comprised of forced ventilation through rear grilles and passive metal components. The control interface functions as intended for the purpose of connecting to controllers and executing machine-level code. With NC and CNC features that range from two to five axes, the control panel can handle them all.
