Product Description:
The E5409-183-393-1 Touch Setter Control Panel from Okuma is designed for integration into CNC or industrial machines. Its faceplate is constructed from ABS plastic. It supports accurate feedback and probe control in industrial environments.
The E5409-183-393-1 touch setter control panel measures approximately 140 x 165 x 45 mm (W x H x D), including the switches. Four corner mounting holes of around 3.5 mm diameter allow easy attachment to cabinets or flat surfaces. The model runs on a 24 V DC power supply that is suitable for standard industrial control systems. This makes it compatible with a wide range of factory and automation environments. The front of the panel houses seven HL63ME bayonet type indicator lamps. These are color coded to reflect various measurement statuses: red denotes NG, while green represents -OK, OK and +OK conditions. These indicators help monitor probe measurement deviation or errors. There are eight push button switches in the panel each fitted with a transparent square cap. These are internally illuminated for visibility in low light conditions. All buttons are momentary type. The panel’s configuration supports integration into control systems with minimal wiring effort.
The back of the E5409-183-393-1 touch setter control panel features spade terminal connectors for quick electrical connection. This type of terminal is easily replaceable and allows simple maintenance or replacement during service. The panel is designed for direct operator interaction. The PROGRAM button in the panel can be used to initiate or set a measurement routine. SENSOR AIR BLOW is used to clean the sensor before probing. ADVANCE and RETRACT buttons move the probe head forward or backward. All components are logically arranged to reduce user error and improve efficiency.
