The PC12202 is a proximity sensor with a sensing distance of 2mm and a switching frequency of 1 kHz. Manufactured by Okuma as part of the E4809 CNC Boards series, it operates on a 10–30 VDC supply voltage and features a built-in LED indicator. With an IP67 protection rating, it includes a 2m PVC cable for connectivity.

The PC12202 is a panel-mounted proximity sensor applied in the automation industry for heavy-duty and long-lasting sensing. The sensor has a sensing distance of 2 mm, thus ensures effective object detection in near-range proximity applications. The sensor has a supply voltage of 10–30 VDC, thus can be matched with most general-purpose DC power supplies found in control devices.
It is PNP output type with Normally Open (NO) configuration for easy integration in the majority of input devices and logic controllers. The PC12202 features a 1 kHz switching frequency for fast response to fast-moving targets and ensure precise detection where there is excessive dynamic movement. Short circuit protection and reverse polarity protection are built in, an advantage that renders sensor operationally safe and ensures device mounted protection. Simple visual identification at the time of installation is made possible by an LED indicator, and no troubleshooting is required, thus diagnosis is easier for consumers. Its rugged housing has an IP67 level of protection and allows it to be used in dusty and damp environments such as industrial and outdoor applications. The PC12202 is supplied prewired with a 2-metre PVC cable for easy connection to control panels or input terminals.
