Product Description:
The E4809-820-016-A CNC Board is the development of Okuma. The board can function very well in performing industrial automation tasks and it ensures highly efficient and precise operation.
The E4809-820-016-A CNC board features hole resistors and ceramic capacitors that are spread throughout for signal filtering and voltage regulation which indicates robust power management and signal conditioning. It comes with four corner mounting holes with possible chassis grounding which ensures stable mechanical fixation and provides electrical grounding to the machine frame that is critical for safety and noise immunity. It can handle substantial power with the help of 3 black capacitors which smooth high voltage DC rails for motor drivers or power circuits. It also has an additional connector for signal or control which allows it to interface with external systems possibly PLCs, motor drivers or feedback sensors which makes it a communication hub in a CNC system. The board has a standard industrial finish that aids visibility for service, repair and manufacturing. It comes with a single sided component layout which simplifies maintenance and reduces production cost. The presence of semiconductors such as transistors and diodes shows active control or protection functions such as switching, regulation or circuit safeguarding.
The E4809 CNC Boards series includes 6 relays that are used to switch high power or safety critical circuits on and off and could control spindle motors, coolant systems or alarms. It has a plug in type modular design with edge connectors which enables flexibility and makes it easy to swap or reconfigure specific functions such as I/O expansion, encoder input or feedback processing. It is a moderately large board footprint with a size of 300 mm x 150 mm.
