The Okuma E4809-770-139 MPBDN-P Card is a compact motion control interface board. It is designed for high performance signal processing and real time axis movement control. This E4809-770-139 MPBDN-P card features four metal reinforced mounting holes for secure chassis installation. It supports a large 12 pin header for stable power input and distribution. Transient voltage suppression ensures protection against voltage spikes and bulk capacitors provide voltage stabilization. The connectivity options of the card include multiple interfaces such as an IDC ribbon at XB1 for communication or I/O, a high density connector at XB3 for axis control and encoder feedback and pin headers at XB5-XB7 for sensor inputs. Black connectors at XS5-XS7 allow for additional I/O integration. The onboard switch block SW1 includes 10 DIP switches for manual configuration of system parameters like axis ID, baud rate and operating modes. The processing capabilities of this card are powered by a Renesas H8S/2398 MCU, a 16 bit CISC microcontroller with a maximum clock frequency of 20 MHz. This controller offers 128 KB Flash memory, 4 KB RAM and integrated UART, SPI and I2C interfaces. It is dedicated to real time axis movement control and motion processing.
