It functions as a servo amplifier card, delivering drive power and feedback processing for motion axes supplied by the numerical control. Installed in Okuma machining centers, this board converts digital position and velocity commands into regulated current for the attached motors and closes the loop between the SVP command source and the mechanical load.
The amplifier controls 2 independent axes, with each loop supervised by the numerical control firmware on the host. Two reset switches, identified as SW1-1 and SW1-2, clear faults or reload parameters without cycling cabinet mains. Field wiring is secured by M4 terminal screws, allowing ring lugs used with motor and encoder cabling to be clamped with adequate force.
