Product Description:
Okuma is a Japanese company known for CNC machines and automation technology. This company specializes in precision engineering solutions producing high performance machine tools and control systems. Their products are widely used in industries requiring reliable and efficient industrial automation solutions.
This E4809-436-033 OPUS 5000 Main Board features a single layer PCB with a green color layout and a medium sized form factor. It is designed for secure mounting using four screw holes. This board utilizes through hole components on the component side while soldering points and trace lines are present on the back side. Various integrated circuits contribute to its processing capabilities including SN74LS74AN (Dual D-Type Flip-Flop with Set and Reset), SN74LS161AP (Synchronous 4 bit Binary Counter), SN74LS153 (Dual 4 line to 1 line Multiplexer) and SN74LS08 (Quadruple Two Input AND Gates). A NEC JAPAN D71051C microcontroller enhances its processing functions. This board includes both electrolytic capacitors such as 47µF and ceramic capacitors for stable voltage regulation. Resistor arrays and discrete resistors in standard 1/4W sizes manage circuit impedance while diodes are incorporated for signal rectification. Two primary connectors CN1 and CN2 facilitate data transmission; CN1 is a rectangular connector for general communication whereas CN2 is a high density connector dedicated to RS-232C serial communication. Configuration adjustments are possible through small DIP switches or jumpers, labeled SW1 and SW2.
The E4809-436-033 main board includes essential power regulation components such as the TDK CHG-065T2NC transformer which ensures stable power distribution. Inductors are incorporated to filter power fluctuations. This board’s functionality supports RS-232C serial communication that is compatible with various automation systems. Its data handling capabilities are facilitated by multiple logic gates and flip flops which enable efficient signal processing and control operations.
