Product Description:
The E4809-091-E is a Okuma manufactured CNC Board. It is part of the E4809 CNC Boards series. It is a compact device which is well-suited for industrial automation applications.
The E4809-091-E CNC Board comes with a crystal oscillator for timing which ensures all processes on this module run in perfect timing. It draws power directly via the edge connector due to which it integrates easily with the CNC system main chassis. It has a port for RS 232C serial communication which allows it to interface with external devices like PCs or diagnostic tools. It is featured with a ribbon cable which enables interface with external devices like PCs or diagnostic tools. The board has EPROM chips in which its operating software is stored and can also be removed easily. It is capable of basic serial communication and is suitable for diagnostics and logging. It handles everything from motion logic to I/O operations with the help of microcontrollers and ICs. It also has a CN MO 2 port which is designed for connecting to punching peripherals.
The E4809-091-E CNC board is playing the role of the central hub of a CNC machine by controlling motion, log and communication. It comes with a PCB construction which allows dense circuitry and additional layers or modules which enhances performance and feature integration. It has a rugged construction which makes it capable of withstanding heat, vibration and extended operation in factory environments. It can be fit easily into standardized CNC machine frames or enclosures which aids in maintenance and system integration. The module has a gold fingered connector which is used to plug into a system backplane which enables communications with other boards and power lines.
