Product Description:

Okuma manufactured the E4809-045-217-C OPUS 7000 BOARD, a control interface board designed for automatic industrial systems. The board is an important part of the OPUS 7000 platform for controlling and moving parts. In machine control uses that need reliable relay switching, voltage regulation, and signal isolation, this part is used.

On the right side of the E4809-045-217-C OPUS 7000 board, there is a big white multi-pin connector that lets you connect to the main processor. It's likely that this connection sends ground, +5V, +24V, and ON/OFF control signals. There are also pins for edge connectors that are used for system connections on the backplane or in a rack. A toroidal coil inductor is put in place to help cut down on noise and ripple. The voltage regulators and transistors that control the power are located close to heat sink sections that are just for that purpose. You can put power processors like MOSFETs or high-power transistors on top of these heat sinks. Near the input connections are silicon diodes and rectifiers that change AC to DC and protect against flyback. ICs that are small, like 8-pin or 14-pin chips, are likely to do things like time, signal conditioning, or logical switching.
