The E4809-045-109-F OPUS 5000 II SVP Board is a high quality control board that is designed for advanced automation applications. The SVP board belongs to the class of SVP boards that are used with various types of CNC lathes, machining centers, servo motors, drives, and human machine interfaces. These types of control boards are highly suitable for areas where drive control decisions have to be implemented in a split second. The SVP control boards belong to the class of servo processor boards that are used to control the brushless servo motors. The position and speed of the motor axis are determined by the control board. This type of control board can be used to control up to six sensors, one pulse generator, and one pulse handle. A single DA/AD can also be controlled by the board.

The E4809-045-109-F OPUS 5000 II SVP Board can be used to control two aces simultaneously. If more than two axes have to be controlled, then multiple SVP boards can be lined up and used in conjunction. There are different types of SVP boards that can be used for specific functions. Depending on the configuration, the board can be used with either a machining center or a CNC lathe. The servo processor board (SVP board) is equipped with a DA IF that can generate a full scale 10 V voltage that is used for spindle control. The spindle load status can also be displayed at the CRT with an AD IF volts signal. The SVP board can also compute the actual axis position data generated by the position encoder.
