Product Description:
The E4809-045-088-E CRP Board is a compact control and processing board manufactured for high reliability industrial applications. It features a Sharp LH0080B Z80B CPU and supports legacy system configurations. This model is designed in a 2U rackmount format. It fits backplane based systems with gold finger edge connectors. This board includes essential components for memory, processing, power regulation and display control.
This E4809-045-088-E CRP board uses an LH0080B Z80B microprocessor running at 6 MHz and provides reliable 8 bit processing. It integrates an HM6264ALP-10 SRAM chip with 8 KB capacity and 100 ns access time. Two custom labeled ROM chips HCG81.00 and FCGA1.00 support firmware storage and configuration. Clocking functions of this board are handled by two oscillators: a 16.000 MHz XCO-102 for system timing and a 24.576 MHz XCO-107 used for serial communication or display timing. This PCB also includes an HD46505SP-2 CRT controller for managing display output. Logic control is achieved through various 74LS TTL ICs such as the SN74LS138N decoder, SN74LS157N multiplexer and SN74LS245N bus transceiver. A SN74LS74AN flip flop and SN74LS00N NAND gate ensure reliable logic and signal flow.
This Okuma E4809-045-088-E CRP board features a 50 pin blue ribbon connector and a gold plated edge connector for backplane integration. EMI suppression and power stability are provided by a toroidal inductor TDK CHG-0505N module and 47 µF 35 V capacitors for voltage smoothing. This board measures approximately 12 by 12 inches and is built to fit passive backplane chassis. The presence of TTL based logic ICs ensures compatibility with legacy systems and signal standards. Its 3 to 8 decoder and octal transceiver support multiple peripheral interactions and bus level data transfer.
