Product Description:

Okuma’s E4809-045-036-A is a specialized motor cable from the E4809 series, built to provide durability in CNC systems and automation settings.

Since this cable can be installed easily, even in small spaces, and its cable length is 3.6 meters, it is made for motor feedback applications that require tight and unobstructed connections. The cable can work efficiently when the temperature is between -20°C and +80°C, and was designed to withstand 300V maximum voltage, which fits many applications in industries. Thanks to its high-grade PUR material, the outer jacket is very flexible, durable, and able to protect everything from scratches to oil and other chemicals. The cable consists of 8 conductors that are each made with a core cross-section of 0.14 mm². It includes an overall foil and braid shield to make sure there is no significant influence from electrical disturbances from motors, drives, or similar equipment. This shielding results in constant signal quality and cuts down on errors in feedback systems. The nominal diameter of this cable is about 6.5 mm, and it should be bent at least ten times this diameter for permanent installations.

Owing to its strength, a flexing conduit can handle more than 5 million movement cycles in drag chain systems, giving it a long active life and careful performance over time. The materials used in industrial applications are flame retardant and meet UL VW-1 as well as IEC 60332-1 standards for safety. Thanks to its strong electrical features, robust construction, and resistance to environmental factors, this feedback cable is recommended for when advanced CNC and automation applications are in use. It can be purchased at Wake Industrial with a one-year warranty.
