Product Description:

The Okuma E0241-653-081 MSM Board is a small and reliable PC board for use as a PLC add-on in the Okuma OSP CNC Control System. It measures 120 x 80 x 40 millimeters and can easily be connected to machine control cabinets by plug-in installation in an internal board slot. To automate and enhance CNC operation, the board supplies digital and some analog input/output, signal processing and overall improved machine control. The Okuma connectors and communication protocols, with an RS-485 communication interface, guarantee simple and reliable data transfer within the control system. This PCB is built with industrial-grade components for high reliability in demanding manufacturing environments.

An important aspect of the E0241 MSM Board is its wide operating temperature range of -20 to +70 degrees Celsius. This allows the board to operate in very cold to quite hot environments without damage or losing performance. Its temperature range is very wide, such that it can be used in different factory conditions, like places that will be very cold in winter or very hot because of heavy machine use. Its robustness ensures that CNC machines operate consistently without any failure due to extreme temperatures.

This board has a low power consumption of 50 watts, and this can greatly reduce energy cost. While using less power, it generates less heat and reduces stress on the components. This feature not only prolongs their lifespan but also the reliability of the board. The efficient machine design ensures low power usage to enable better overall energy management in a system. The Okuma E0241 MSM Board, which runs using just 50 watts of power, supports both effective machine control and reduces energy usage in industrial systems.
