The Okuma BL-UH101E-20T is a digital servo motor. It is part of the BL product line. The rated motor speed is 2000 RPM. During operation the motor parameters are controlled by a drive controller. The combination of a servo motor and a servo drive is a drive system that can be used for a wide range of industrial applications. The approved applications for the motor are listed in the product documentation. The motor should only be used for approved applications, under specified ambient conditions, and in the approved mounting positions. Use of the BL-UH101E-20T for non-approved applications can lead to equipment damage and / or injury to personnel. The manufacturer will not accept any liability for equipment damage or injury resulting from improper use of its products. In such cases the motor warranty will also be rendered null and void.
The BL-UH101E-20T motor has two connectors which are a power connector and a feedback connector. The motor gets from through a power cable from the drive controller. This power cable connects to the power connector on the motor. The motor sends feedback through a separate feedback cable to the drive controller. This feedback cable connects to the feedback connector on the motor. Both of these connectors must be properly sealed during motor installation. Non-sealed connectors will adversely affect the protection rating of the motor. Non-sealed connectors will also adversely affect motor performance. The installation and handling of the BL-UH101E-20T must only be performed by trained personnel. If a BL-UH101E-20T motor is found to be defective at the time of delivery, then it must not be installed or put into operation. The BL-UH101E-20T must only be used with approved accessories.
