The BL-MC100J-20TNA is a brushless servo motor manufactured by Okuma for the BL Servo Motors series. It is intended for CNC axes and automated handling equipment that require repeatable rotary motion and integrated position feedback. An Okuma encoder monitors the motor shaft and sends synchronized position information to the drive and numerical control, allowing the control system to correct motion during precision positioning. The brushless design also supports controlled acceleration, deceleration, and continuous speed regulation without mechanical commutation.
This model delivers a rated mechanical output of 2 kW at a nominal shaft speed of 2000 rpm. It can apply up to 100 kgf·cm of torque to the connected load. Position feedback has a resolution of 1,296,000 pulses per revolution, allowing the controller to distinguish very small changes in shaft angle. The encoder transmits information through the proprietary Okuma Encoder Link, with frame updates occurring every 16 μs per frame.
