Product Description:
Okuma Corporation is one of the most reputable corporations specializing in the advanced manufacturing of servo motors and industrial modules. Based in Japan, Okuma Corporation is known for pioneering the powerful BL servo motor series, housing some of the most durable servomotors the market has ever seen. Under the BL servo product line, the BL-H50E-20T originated. The BL-H50E-20T is a compact servomotor featuring a rectangular form factor and a unique output shaft. Although it does not come with a built-in terminal box for housing the encoder and power cables, the BL-H50E-20T offers two connection ports for the encoder and power wires.
During operation, the BL-H50E-20T relies on an alternating current that induces a changing magnetic field. The varying magnetic field induces a mechanical force, making the motor shaft rotate and, hence, drive loads. Similar to other servo motors by Okuma under the BL series, the BL-H50E-20T supports flange mounting and employs natural cooling. Because this machine does not employ surface cooling fans, the overall weight of this motor is relatively lower compared to other BL servomotors. As mentioned earlier, the BL-H50E-20T employs a unique spindle shaft perfect for form-fitting loads. To maximize the potential of this servomotor, a servo amplifier or drive must be connected during operation.
Without a proper servo drive and motor encoder, the BL-H50E-20T cannot operate fully the way it is intended. The motor encoder serves as the monitoring and feedback device, while the servo drive performs the control functions for the motor. In a typical automation system, the servo drive may be connected physically or virtually with other host devices, processing modules, or host controllers. Wake Industrial generously offers the BL-H50E-20T with a product warranty, valid for one year.
