Product Description:
The BL-H200E-20S is a massive Okuma servomotor made and designed in Japan. Boasting a power rating of 4 kilowatts, this servomotor is designed for driving heavy loads and components requiring high rotary forces. For AC motors and machines, the rotating forces are quantified in terms of torque. As part of Okuma’s exclusive BL servo series, this machine is capable of operating in the most volatile environments and conditions. Like other BL motors by Okuma Corporation, the BL-H200E-20S features a sturdy chassis and frame, allowing it to withstand considerable amounts of shock and vibration during operation and transport.
As a large motor, the BL-H200E-20S requires adequate ventilating space during operation. Since this motor does not come with forced-air cooling fans by default, installation personnel must allot adequate clearance, especially at the motor’s rear end, to facilitate cooling efficiently. The BL-H200E-20S comes with a built-in motor encoder, allowing it to perform advanced monitoring functions during servo applications. Because this motor is optimized for high-power and torque applications, the BL-H200E-20S can maintain a relatively low rated shaft velocity. During operation, the motor can maintain a continuous shaft velocity of 2000 rpm. For most motors, the rated shaft velocity is also the speed at which the maximum torque can be achieved.
Technically, the BL-H200E-20S can be operated at higher operating speeds. Doing so, however, will decrease its torque output, assuming all other parameters are kept constant. One of the most common ways to increase the speed of servomotors such as the BL-H200E-20S is to apply a higher excitation voltage. Like other BL motors by Okuma, the BL-H200E-20S employs a smooth output shaft for driving general loads, gears, and other components.
