The SV3403-00000 is a flux-vector AC drive produced by Kollmorgen within the SV3000 Flux Vector Drives series. Supplied in a chassis or panel-mounting format, the unit regulates induction-motor speed and torque through closed-loop current control. It is intended for general industrial automation roles such as conveyors, mixers, and positioning axes where tight velocity regulation, braking capability, and analog process feedback are required. This control method helps the drive maintain stable motor response during load changes and low-speed operation.
The electrical section shows the continuous workload the drive can support. It accepts a three-phase input of 460 VAC and generates up to 3 HP at the motor terminals. Continuous operation is backed by 4.8 A RMS of load current, while dynamic events are covered by a peak capability of 7.2 A RMS. At the mains, the drive draws 6.9 A and produces 4.3 kVA of apparent power. A power factor of 0.95 keeps displacement currents low and eases wiring size. Heat created by the power stage is removed by an internal fan, and the chassis or panel form factor simplifies installation.
