The STF5372-3750-61-82BC-CU is a permanent-magnet DC washdown motor engineered by Kollmorgen within the STF Washdown Motors series. As a washdown-rated drive element, it supplies mechanical power to conveyors, mixers, and other motion axes that are routinely exposed to high-pressure cleaning in food, beverage, and chemical processing lines. By converting electrical energy into continuous rotary motion, the motor integrates into servo loops or standalone speed-control systems and delivers the torque needed for automated material handling without additional protective housings. Its washdown design allows placement near process equipment where repeated sanitation cycles would quickly damage standard open-frame motors.

Under steady load the motor draws a 9.3 A continuous current, which is the thermal limit for uninterrupted duty. At that operating point, the shaft delivers 72 lb-in of continuous torque for medium-duty equipment. The windings accept 180 VDC, so the controller must supply filtered DC at this level. Energized at that voltage, the armature turns at 1750 RPM, a common base speed for geared conveyor and mixer drives. The TENV enclosure omits internal fans, so heat is dissipated through the housing while airborne water and debris are kept out. In combination with the IP65 seal set and stainless hardware, the motor tolerates high-pressure washdowns from any direction and resists corrosion during frequent cleaning cycles. Mounting follows the NEMA C Face pattern on a 145TC/182 frame, which supports direct attachment to compatible machine interfaces.
