The Seco SL3403-01000 is a 3 Horsepower rated AC drive. It is designed for three-phase AC induction motor control applications. The drive has an input rating of 460 Volts AC (three-phase, 48 to 62 Hertz). Additional performance related specifications for the drive include 6.9 Amps input current, 4.8 Amps output current, 7.2 Amps peak output current, 3.8 kVA peak output apparent power, 100 Watts power loss and 0.86 input power factor. The drive input can sustain a maximum input voltage variation of ±10%. The drive has in internal fan for ventilation. SL3000 drives have an internal dynamic braking resistor. External braking resistors are available as an option for applications that require greater braking or resistance to overhauling loads. The integrated keypad on the SL3403-01000 is used in conjunction with the LDC display to program and monitor the drive.

All parameters on the SL3403-01000 can be secured through the use of security codes: only personnel in possession of the proper security codes can access the drive parameters. Dimensions of the SL3403-01000 are 12.35 x 9.5 x 7.06 inches. The drive is designed for either chassis mounting or panel mounting. Enclosed drive versions are also available and can be ordered if required. The temperature range recommended by Seco for drive operation is 0 to 55 degrees Celsius. The installation side altitudes can go up to 1000 meters without drive output derating. Capacitors, fuses and MOVs are provided on the SL3403-01000 for line side protection. The SL3403-01000 can handle 150% output overload for a time duration of up to 60 seconds. the installation and safety instructions in the product manual should be implemented. Failure to do so can lead to injury and equipment damage.
