U9M4HA-2 is a high-performance servo motor. It is designed and manufactured by Kollmorgen. The motor has a flat disc armature. This feature allows motor construction with a low profile. This motor is especially suitable for applications that have limited space for the motor. ServoDisc U-series motors are compatible with Kollmorgen amplifiers from the EM19 and KXA Plus series. These amplifiers supply motor power and control motor speed and torque. Feedback options for U-series motors include optical encoders and integral/external tachometers. Another available option is a fail-safe brake, which can be necessary for applications with strict safety requirements. The motors are designed with low inertia and zero cogging for superior performance. The high torsional stiffness enables precise speed control and acceleration. Mechanical specifications of the U9M4HA-2 compact motor include 2.39 inches length, 2.6 kilograms weight and 4.37 inches diameter.
