U9M4 is a Kollmorgen servo motor from the ServoDisc U series. This motor can be used with an amplifier from the KXA Plus series or the EM19 linear amplifier series. Operators can order the motor with an integral or external tachometer. Additional options include optical encoders and fail-safe brakes. The motor has a Kollmorgen flat disc armature and low inertia design in a compact package. The motor supports exceptional speed control and low RFI. Brushes used on the motor require low maintenance. This flat motor is ideal for applications that require motors with compact dimensions and high torsional stiffness. The motor is designed to English dimensions rather than the metric equivalent. Its diameter is 4.37 inches. Diameter of the motor shaft is 0.4995 inches. Length of the motor is 1.84 inches and its weight is 2 kilograms.
