The N12M4T is a DC servo motor produced by Kollmorgen within the ServoDisc Pancake DC Motors series. This frameless, flat-profile unit uses an ironless disk armature to deliver low inertia and fast torque rise, making it suitable for positioning tables, semiconductor tools, and other industrial automation axes. By converting electrical energy into rotary motion with minimal cogging, the motor provides smooth velocity control for closed-loop drive systems.

At its nominal operating point the motor accepts 45.0 V across the terminals and reaches a shaft speed of 3000 RPM while delivering 278 W of mechanical output. The available continuous stall torque is 90 N-cm, permitting the load to be held without overheating whenever motion is stopped.
