JR16M4CHLR-2 is a JR series ServoDisc motor from Kollmorgen. It is a high-performance, compact, and efficient direct-drive motor designed specifically for precision motion control applications. The motor can be directly connected to the load without the need for additional mechanical components such as gears, belts, or couplings. This leads to increased reliability and reduced mechanical wear. JR series motors can be used in combination with amplifiers from the KXA Plus series. Options for these motors include gear reducers, optical encoders, resolvers, tachometers and fail-safe brakes. JR series motors can deliver 12 to 298 lb-in continuous torque. These motors can be ordered with 5.5 to 16.25 inch OD round frames. Special motor features include low RFI and excellent speed control with zero cogging. The brushes used on the motors have a long operating life.

Peak torque output of the JR16M4CHLR-2 motor is 208 lb-in or 23.4 N-cm. The nominal operating speed is 3000 RPM and the sustainable peak speed is 5000 RPM.
