Product Description:
The Kollmorgen SE2302-5 is a SE2000 series motor controller. The input of the controller is compatible with single phase AC at 115- or 230-Volts AC. The input voltage variation should be within ±10% of the nominal voltage. The AC line frequency should be 50 / 60 Hertz with ±2 Hertz allowed variation. The power rating of the motors that the SE2302-5 controls depend on the input voltage: it is 0.5 to 2 Horsepower for 230 Volts input and 0.25 to 1 Horsepower for 115 Volts input. The DC output for the SE2302-5 depends on the input voltage: it is 0 to 90 Volts DC and 50/100 Volts DC for the armature and field respectively at 115 Volts AC, and 0 to 180 Volts DC and 100 / 200 Volts DC for the armature and field respectively at 230 Volts AC.
The SE2302-5 is a reversing-brake controller which is designed for chassis-mounting. Reversing-brake controllers include both forward and reversing contactors with dynamic braking and anticlogging. Several options are avaible for series SE2000 controllers including a 2-pole circuit breaker that allows both input lines to be disconnected, digital signal follower which allows speed control by external digital pulse signal from MTC magnetic pick-up, controlled deceleration stop which enables drive deceleration on Stop command and fault module which shuts down the drive and provides an output signal if the overcurrent / field loss / tach loss failures occur. Several settings can be adjusted on the SE2302-5 including current range, maximum speed, minimum speed, acceleration deceleration, torque slope, preset job and IR compensation. Only trained and qualified technical personnel should be allowed to install and operate the SE2302-5 motor controller.
