Product Description:
The SE2302 is a motor controller. It is manufactured by Kollmorgen and belongs to the SE2000 product line. A number of models are available as part of the SE2000 product line. The SE2302 is a reversing-brake model controller and is designed for chassis mounting. The reversing brake controllers include forward and reversing contactors with anticlogging and dynamic braking. The controller is designed for controlling 0.25 to 1 Horsepower rated DC motors at 115 Volts AC and 0.5 to 2 Horsepower rated motors at 230 Volts AC. The power supply on the controller can tolerate a ±10% variation in the input supply. A disconnect switch should be used between the AC supply and the controller input. A controller has a AC line circuit breaker for line protection.
At 115 Volts AC input, the DC output voltage is 0 to 90 Volts DC for the armature and 50 / 100 Volts DC for the field. At 230 Volts AC input, the DC output voltage is 0 to 180 Volts DC for the armature and 100 / 200 Volts DC for the field. As a chassis mount controller, the maximum temperature for operation of the SE2302 is 55 degrees Celsius. The relative humidity in the vicinity of the controller should not be allowed to exceed 95%. The altitude of the installation site for the controller should be less than or equal to 3300 feet. The SE2302 should be mounted vertically. Operation and maintenance should only be performed by trained personnel. The main power feed must be disconnected before any maintenance is performed on the SE2302 controller. Service factor for the SE2302 controller is 1.0. The duty for the controller is continuous.
