The S7720C-PBF2-NA Kollmorgen digital servo amplifier features autotuning and cogging functionalities. This servo amplifier also offers fast feedback evaluation. The product is suitable for complex drive tasks. This device comes equipped with Ethernet connectivity onboard. The unit is compatible with all standard controllers and feedback systems. It comes with an inbuilt fan. This amplifier has a tightening torque of 0.5 Nm for the mounting flange.

The product is meant to be installed at an elevation of up to 1000 m above sea level. This device features no possibility for coupling through the DC bus link circuit in the individual state. The unit uses a special sequence for switching off the output stage if it is equipped with a selected brake function. Its output stage is forced to get switched off immediately when some faults are encountered. This amplifier features an emergency stop function as defined by IEC 60204 specifications.

The product poses a risk of electric shock with improper handling because of high electrical voltage. The device needs its STO related cables to be laid in a cable duct to protect it from external damage when the STO wiring leads are outside the control cabinet. This unit must not be operated on a standalone basis. It has a leakage current higher than 3.5 mA. The servo amplifier switches itself off automatically when it gets overheated.
