Product Description

The S700 series of digital servo amplifiers are used for a variety of servo applications. The S70102-NANANA belongs to the S700 series and operates on a 1.1 kVA power supply. Apart from asynchronous motors, the system can be used with servo motors and high-frequency spindle drives. For efficient ventilation and heat dissipation, the system comes with an inbuilt fan. If the temperature rises beyond safe limits, the servo motor shuts off automatically to ensure safety. The control of speed, position, and current is totally digital with this servo amplifier. An intelligent position controller has been provided for controlling the motor’s position while the speed can be regulated with the help of an adjustable speed controller. The amplifier comes with IP 20 degree protection and the outer casing is protected against small solid objects.

The S70102-NANANA is designed to operate in an extended range of temperatures. The ideal operating temperatures lie between 0 ᵒC to 40 ᵒC and appropriate humidity conditions are below 85% relative humidity. The system’s performance can be upgraded by the use of expansion cards. SynqNet and I/O 14/08 expansion cards can be used with the amplifier. Additionally, separate connectors for RS232 and 2CAN expansion module can also be used to enhance motion control capabilities. Apart from three expansion card slots, a memory card slot has also been provided. The S70102-NANANA’s peak output current is 20 A while its minimum inductance is 7.7 mH. Overall, the S70102-NANANA is a very cost-effective subsystem for automation applications.
