The S30601-SE is one of the several digital servo amplifiers in the S300 series from Kollmorgen. The servo amplifier features a full 28-bit velocity or position loop. The unit encompasses self-contained CE filters. This product is used with the manufacturer’s AKM series servo motors and GOLDLINE direct drive rotary motors. It is CE Certified, RoHS Compliant and cULus Listed. It features a completely metallic, compact enclosure and an ESD rugged circuit design. The amplifier offers fault protection against various aspects such as ground short circuit, output phase to phase short, feedback loss and heat sink. The S30601-SE is supported by a one-year warranty.

The S30601-SE servo amplifier is equipped with a SERCOS Interface Card as the factory-installed option card. The device must be earthed to a protective earth busbar inside the switch cabinet. It may feature uncovered live sections based on its enclosure protection level during operation. The unit operates as a safety component built into electrical machines or plates. The product must incorporate additional filter measures if it is used in small industrial operations or business, commercial or residential areas. The servo amplifier must not be installed in a machine that is not in compliance with any national directive.

The amplifier has an AC input line voltage rating of 208-480 volts and a frequency of 50 to60Hz. It offers position loop compensation using a proportional loop with feed-forward. It operates between an ambient temperature range of 0°C to +45°C. The device is capable of executing up to a total of 256 motion tasks. The unit can also link or sequence motion tasks if needed.  The servo amplifier has an internal power dissipation of 90W. The SERCOS card encompasses fiber optic receiver and transmitter assemblies as well as LED indicators to receive and transmit errors.
