The RBE-01207-A01 is a brushless motor in the RBE series manufactured by Kollmorgen. It offers a variety of flexible solutions for frameless DDR motor applications. In general, RBE motors come with custom and standard windings designed to match the torque and speed performance of the linked servo amplifier. This model has a frameless mechanical configuration, and because of this setup, it does not come with endbells, bearings, couplings and shaft. The frameless configuration adopted by the RBE-01207-A01 helps to eliminate functional complexities, reduce weight & volume, and also improve response and servo stiffness.  

The RBE-01207-A01 offers significant mechanical advantages when compared to conventional systems because of its brushless design. It has 8 magnetic field poles and its max. cogging torque rating describes its peak-to-peak torque disturbance. Between any two winding leads of this motor, the value of the resistance measured is provided at room temperature. It has a motor frame size of 012 and a stack length of 07. Also, its winding designation is “A.” The mechanical deviation of the RBE-01207-A01 is standard.

Generally, the continuous torque of the RBE brushless motor series will range between 0.01 Nm and 38 Nm. Similarly, the peak torque rating of this series falls within the range of 0.03 Nm – 200 Nm. The speed rating of this series is usually up to 35,000 rpm. Like other RBE frameless configuration designs, the RBE-01207-A01 comes with a stator and rotor. It can be integrated with additional feedback devices such as resolvers or encoders and hall sensors as separate components. The admissible operating temperature of the optional resolver has a lower limit of -55^o C and an upper limit of 155^o C.
