Kollmorgen manufactures the PSR45A-250. A precision-built device, the Kollmorgen PSR45A-250 industrial power supply connects directly to a 230 V AC single-phase input. The main source of energy is sinusoidal alternating current delivered by this input voltage, which is a standard in industrial power distribution. The power supply internal circuitry has advanced filtering stages after rectification circuits, which are usually based on controlled semiconductor devices or high-efficiency diode bridges. Together, these reduce transient noise and voltage ripple and convert the AC waveform to a DC one.
