The unit accepts either single-phase or three-phase service. With a three-phase supply, it can draw a continuous 20.0 A, while single-phase operation is limited to 16.0 A. The rectifier and filter raise the line voltage to a steady 325 VDC, while the main link current averages 1.1 A RMS during nominal operation. Its input is rated for 230 VAC, and the internal circuitry releases 150 W of heat that must be removed through enclosure ventilation. A precharge network completes capacitor energization in 25 ms to limit stress on the electrical contacts. For applications with higher average braking energy, an external resistor of at least 8.8 Ω may be connected; this path supports 400 W continuously and accommodates peak currents of 44.3 A. During initial power-up, the soft-start circuitry tolerates an inrush current of 150 A without tripping upstream protection. The frame is only 76 mm wide, allowing multiple supplies to be mounted side by side on a standard panel while preserving airflow clearance around heat-producing components.
