Kollmorgen manufactures the PSR power supply series for industrial use and automation requirements which includes the PSR4/5A-275 power supply as one of the members. The unit delivers a consistent power supply which is essential in motion control industry as it has a stable DC output for servo machinery. The overall heat dissipation and power consumption profile is on the lower side which makes it suitable for industry and operational use.
The input voltage of 90 - 280 V AC with a 75 A RMS maximum input current is compatible with the PSR4/5A-275 power supply. The supply has a Schaffner Model No. 258-75/34 filter model and it requires 8 AWG or larger wire gauge for power bus operations. The terminal torque provided by the unit is 20 lb-in for main power and bus connection and it is recommended to be used along with 600 V AC insulated copper wires. The unit is intelligently designed by Kollmorgen with a thermal overload relay and it is compatible with RS232 and RS485 communication protocols. The cable length that come with the unit is up to 75 meters as per user requirement and it has U.I rated time delay fuses for main power.
