The Kollmorgen 502-03840-03R1 is an advanced servo encoder module with analog output. Servo modules are avaible with 2 / 3 / 4 analog outputs, 1 / 2 / 3 encoder inputs and 1 / 2 / 3 fast inputs. The 502-03840-03R1 features 4 analog output channels, 3 encoder input channels and 3 DC input channels. The module converts 16-bit digital words to a 11 Volts analog output. The module counts pulses from up to 3 encoders. The field side connection for the module is a 40-pin card edge connector with screw terminals which is located on the front side of the module. A DIAG LED on the front side of the 502-03840-03R1 turns on briefly when diagnostics tests are executing and turns off when the module passes its diagnostic tests. Operating temperature range for the module is 7 to 55 degrees Celsius.

The storage temperature range for the 502-03840-03R1 module is -40 to 85 degrees Celsius. The recommended range for non-condensing relative humidity is 5 to 95%.
