The Kollmorgen 502-03814-40R1 is a CPU module. It is compatible with PiC900 control systems. The PiC – short for Programmable Industrial Computer – is a combination of software and hardware that allows control of applications as per customer specifications. The CPU module such as the 502-03814-40R1 integrates the hardware and software elements of the system. The hardware of the PiC system is comprised of a rack, hardware module and I/O connections. The PiC has modular hardware that makes the system easy to configure. The PiC system is usually used in a configuration where it interfaces with a computer workstation or an operator interface.
