Product Description

The model belongs to the series of brushless servo drives and is used to control the functions of the AC servo motors by Kollmorgen. For high performance, the servo drive module should only be operated under the prescribed mounting and operating conditions. The PC834 brushless servo drive can be installed vertically in the control cabinet of minimum IP54 ingress protection and during installation, the minimum specified distance (100 mm at the top and bottom) should be provided for sufficient airflow. If the drive is operating at natural convection cooling mode the minimum unobstructed space of 40 mm is required at the sides of the unit and with forced cooling mode, no space is required at the sides of the module. The L1, L2, and L3 terminals of the modules are specified to make an electrical connection only with the 180 – 265 VAC main voltage line, and the input voltage frequency of the drive is 50/60 Hz. The PC834 brushless servo drive consumes the rated current of 7.1 A at a temperature of 25 degree Celsius.

The model PC834-001-N can dissipate the peak power of 800 W during continuous operation and a 3 – 6 kVA transformer is suggested to be used with this module.
