The P70360-PNN is a micro-stepping AC drive with high performance from Kollmorgen in its P7000 series. The drive must not be connected or disconnected when the power source is energized. The unit has a peak AC rating of 3.5A and a voltage rating of 120VAC/240VAC. It features step/direction and indexing functionality. There is no feedback or electrical option. The device has a power dissipation of 15W at 3.5A. The drive comes with a warranty period of one year.

The inrush current has a pulse width of 4ms and a peak rating of 30mA. The time required for the reduced idle current to revert to the full current of the system is less than 1ms. The general-purpose outputs have a maximum output voltage rating of 30VDC and a maximum output current of 10A. The drive must be installed at a height of less than 1500m. The unit must be stored in a temperature range of -20°C and +70°C. Sometimes fan cooling may be required for the drive to operate properly. When the drive is mounted upright, the heat sink fins must be positioned to the left of the drive.

The minimum ON and OFF times for the LED integrated with the opt isolator is 250ns. The ENABLE input of the standard drive helps in removing the current from the windings of the motor so that the axis can be moved externally. This input features 20mA current rating. The drive signals must be stepped and directed using shielded and twisted pair cables. The motor has an inductance ranging between 50mH and 200mH with a 320VDC bus supply.
