The MX2000-6A is a programmable motion controller manufactured by the company. This model has been designed to operate within a 90 to 265 VAC at a frequency of 50/60 Hz. The device comes with an AC line filter and MOV’s. A power LED is provided that indicates the power on status. This model comes with a 33 MHz digital signal processor that can control 2 to 8 stepper or servo drives. The device can also control 350 I/O points. Each axis of this programmable controller is supervised by an application specific integrated circuit that is custom programmed for the controller. Because of this state of the art computer hardware, the controller is able to multitask up to seven complex motions. The device is also provided with a basic two-axis system that consists of three major circuits. Due to plenty of input and output features, this device is able to control sophisticated machines.

The MX2000-6A can easily establish communication with ‘intelligent’ and ‘dumb’ operator interfaces. The controller can act as a standalone system itself. No host computer and operator interface panel is required for this purpose. The device is also provided with BCD switches that are used to enter numeric data for a simple setup. The serial ports provided on the DSP card helps to establish communication with the controller. The serial ports can be used as an RS232 and RS485 interface. The host port is used for programming and operating the unit. The digital I/O port is provided on the device. The device also comes with a stepper interface.
