The MMC-SD-1.3-460 drive is produced by Kollmorgen and belongs to the MMC Standalone Smart Drives series. This self-contained unit combines power electronics with embedded motion sequencing so it can command a single servo axis directly from plant-level I/O. In automated packaging, material-handling, or light machine-tool setups, the drive supplies regulated three-phase current to a matched motor while supervising velocity, position, and fault conditions.
On a 460 VAC bus, the drive delivers up to 1.3 kW of mechanical output. Its continuous phase current is 3.0 A, while transient events can be supplied with a peak current of 6.0 A. To support that load, the input section draws a nominal power of 1.94 kVA at a line current of 2.44 A RMS. Current loops are refreshed every 125 µs and velocity commands every 250 µs, enabling tight torque and speed control for dynamic indexing tasks.
