In automated machinery, the drive supplies controlled torque and speed to servo motors while monitoring feedback to maintain motion accuracy. Its standalone design combines the power stage, motion control electronics, and communication interfaces in one unit for use in distributed machine-control systems.
It delivers a continuous output current of 2.5 A and can supply up to 7.5 A during short acceleration events, providing headroom for dynamic loads. The power section is rated for 0.5 kW at a nominal bus voltage of 230 V, and it operates on a three-phase input. Control electronics are enabled by a stabilized 24 VDC supply that must be present before the main contactor closes. The drive uses a digital interface for the motion command channel.
