In automated cells, the unit manages acceleration, deceleration, and steady-state velocity without external regenerative hardware, allowing compact axes to be integrated into packaging, printing, or material-handling systems.
The drive can deliver a continuous motor phase current of 27.5 A, which supports mid-frame servomotors that require steady torque under constant load. Transient events such as rapid indexing are covered by a peak current limit of 55.0 A, giving the control system a two-to-one overload margin before current foldback. A current-loop update time of 125 µs minimizes the delay between a sensed error and the corrective output, while the velocity loop closes in 250 µs for precise speed regulation. When paired with high-resolution encoders, the command interface accepts pulse streams up to 720 kHz, so fine positional increments are not lost at high travel rates.
