This digital drive module conditions three-phase mains power and delivers controlled output to servo or induction motors in automated machinery, removing the need for a separate motion controller. By integrating power electronics, signal processing, and fieldbus ports in a single enclosure, the unit streamlines cabinet wiring and provides decentralized speed and torque regulation for packaging lines, material handlers, and general factory automation.

At the power stage, the drive continuously supplies 10 A to the motor windings, allowing steady operation within its thermal capacity. For rapid acceleration, it can deliver a peak current of 30 A for short intervals, and the input bridge can withstand a line-charging surge of 70 A at startup. Under normal operating conditions, the mains side draws 18 A RMS, resulting in a nominal input power of 4.0 kVA for midrange motion axes such as pick-and-place gantries. Current loops are refreshed every 125 µs, while velocity corrections occur every 250 µs, allowing the drive to react quickly to command changes.

The output stage modulates carrier pulses at frequencies up to 266 Hz, providing electrical bandwidth for high-speed spindles or tightly geared axes. It accepts feedback devices that generate signals at frequencies up to 720 kHz, supporting compatibility with fine-pitch encoders. Overall shaft power is rated at 2 kW, while internal power dissipation is limited to 70 W.
