The M.1015.6922 is a compact drive controller produced by Kollmorgen for the MMC Standalone Smart Drives series. In machine tools, packaging lines, and small material-handling axes, this module combines power electronics with motion logic to operate a single-axis motor without a separate cabinet-mounted drive. It mounts directly on the machine frame, reducing wiring and control-panel space while supplying regulated AC power. Current limiting and protective monitoring support the closed-loop operation required for industrial automation tasks.
The drive accepts a mains supply of 250 VAC at 50 Hz and can deliver up to 6 A at 50 °C to the connected motor winding. Its dielectric insulation withstands 2500 VAC for 1 minute, allowing the control section to tolerate typical factory overvoltage tests. Protective earth leakage is limited to 5 mA at 240 V and 50 Hz, helping the unit meet applicable touch-current requirements. Power dissipation is only 3.5 W at full electrical load, which minimizes heat generation around the drive. The enclosure supports back mounting with four M4 screws or side mounting with two M5 screws. These attachment options allow installation on a panel or rail without additional brackets.
